Hannah Featherstone is a Franco-British singer songwriter fuelled by the desire to shine a light on The Unseen. Inviting us to step away from the hustle and bustle, she clothes the silence with the warmth of her voice and weaves a contemplative and chiseled electro pop sound. After the success of her previous album Word Bound (2018), Hannah is back with a new project. Light and darkness lead the dance in her new album Ode To The Unseen,'coup de coeur' Radio France, in which her music reverberates with haunting yet powerful vulnerability, opening up to a sacred space of mystery.

A classically trained pianist, Hannah has honed her craft through her involvement from a young age in Gospel and sacred music choirs, her career as a solo artist, and her collaborations with other ensembles across a wide range of musical genres. Her passion for songwriting deepened during her university years when she studied psychology. Through her personal journey, words have come to carry an utmost importance in Hannahʼs creations. She has worked as a lyricist, songwriter and vocalist for international composers such as MaJiKer (Camille, Mélissa Laveaux), Federico Ferrandina (Dallas Buyerʼs Club) and Steven Faux (BBC, David Attenboroughʼs Life of Birds).

In each performance, Hannah brings her songs to life – an impassioned heart to heart with her audience, an immersive visual and musical experience in which she weaves together piano, machines and vocal technique to create a space for contemplative reflection and rest. Having enjoyed performing on some of the most beautiful stages in Paris (lʼOlympia, le Zénith, le Sunset/Sunside, le Collège de Bernardins), singing in festivals in France and Europe (TedXTalks, The Bath International Music Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival), and competing on the French edition of The Voice, what Hannah values above all else is the
close connection with her audience.

Rompue à lʼexercice du piano classique dès le plus jeune âge, elle fait ses armes au sein de choeurs de musique gospel et sacrée pour ensuite devenir soliste, au contact dʼensembles aux styles bien distincts.
Cʼest en parallèle de ses études en psychologie en Angleterre, son pays dʼorigine, que s'est révélé le désir de composer. Un parcours qui lʼincite à  accorder une place toute particulière aux mots dans ses créations.
Hannah prête ainsi sa plume et sa voix à de nombreux compositeurs internationaux tels que MaJiKer (Camille, Mélissa Laveaux), Federico Ferrandina (Dallas Buyerʼs Club) ou Steven Faux (BBC, David Attenboroughʼs Life of Birds).

En live, autour de son piano et ses machines, Hannah Featherstone habite ses chansons comme un coeur à coeur dépouillé et propose une immersion musicale et visuelle ouvrant un espace de recueillement à son public. Alors quʼelle foule de belles scènes parisiennes (Olympia, Zénith, le Sunset…), chante dans des festivals en France comme à lʼétranger (TedXTalks, Edinburgh Fringe…) et se prête même au jeu du télé-crochet via un passage remarqué dans lʼémission The Voice, Hannah Featherstone maintient le contact direct avec son public en organisant des concerts intimistes chez lʼhabitant ou dans de grands événements.
